DATA AS A  CAREER

You've probably heard of data science. But because it’s a relatively new academic field, there’s confusion about what “data science” means and there’s inconsistency in how it’s taught.

 

The reality is, data is everywhere. If you know how to work with data, a lot of doors open - and you get paid well! Data science has a lot of definitions, but think of it as a multidisciplinary approach to finding stories, insights, and patterns from large datasets, then cleaning and organizing the data in a way that makes sense so you can act on it.
